To prepare deadeye strops, cut with pliers fifteen pieces of 20 mm length of brass wire 0.5 mm diameter.
Place around the deadeye guide surrounding a 5 mm piece of brass wire which cut in the previous step. With flat nose pliers, cross the two wire ends and we turn to give three turns.
Insert the end of the strap through the first hole on the bow fitting table. The wire must pass through table and deadeye must stop it.
